The video features a man dressed as an elephant (played by the lead singer Chris Martin). He escapes from a zoo located in London and tries to hitchhike in order to get to a different country. He was able to do so and reached different places. By busking, he earns money to buy a unicycle. He then uses the unicycle to travel and after aimlessly wandering, he comes across other elephants (the other Coldplay band members) playing the song.
