Singles to Appear on Mylo Xyloto album

Coldplay is an English band that burst on to the scene over ten years ago and only continues to increase in popularity. They are now prepared to release their new album Mylo Xyloto on October 24, 2011. In preparation of this event, they have already chosen to release Every Teardrop is a Waterfall. Every Teardrop is a Waterfall song lyrics can be found here. This album will also feature many live songs include Hurts Like Heaven, Major Minus, Moving to Mars, Us Againt the World and Charlie Brown as performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Many of these are sure to be hits just as a number of their past releases have been. The inspiration behind this album is anti-Nazi movements along with old school American graffiti.

Hurts Like Heavenwas first performed May 31, 2011 at The Forum, Kentish Town, London and has been played a number of times since at festival dates. According to singer Chris Martin, Hurts Like Heaven is a great showcase for guitarist Jonny Buckland. During this song, Jonny only plays two chords and yet his talent is on full display.

Major Minus was also first performed at The Forum and continue to do so today. As with the other songs on this album, this song is designed to allow the band to speak out abut things that concern them even when they are in a negative environment. This song has been trending on Twitter since it was played on June 25, 2011 at the Glastonbury Festival.

It has been suggested that Moving to Mars will also be included on the album when Mylo Xyloto is released although this is not guaranteed. This song tends to be more downbeat and starts with a Chris Martin solo on the piano. This song was released on iTunes on June 26, 2011 and listeners love it. Over 50% give it a perfect ten. More than 90% give it a seven or above so Coldplay has another winner on their hands.

Other songs will be included on Mylo Xyloto and this is just a sampling so you know what to expect. As early releases have been well received by fans, this album should do as well as, if not better, than past releases. Be sure to check out the songs currently offered.
